YOUR RECORDS · YOUR STORY · YOUR CARE
Snap your lab results, prescriptions and scans. Kalma files them encrypted, explains them in plain language for free — and when you need more, a licensed doctor joins the same conversation. No retelling your story.

"Is her temperature
normal for teething?"
DR. OKAFOR JOINED
"I've read her story — nothing worrying here. Two things to watch…"
Kalma is your health vault that learned to talk — and to bring a doctor when talk isn't enough.
STEP 1 · FREE
Lab results, prescriptions, X-rays, discharge summaries. Kalma reads it, names it, files it — encrypted before it's stored. Your history in your pocket, not in a folder at one hospital.
STEP 2 · FREE
"What does this ALT number mean?" Kalma explains your own results in plain language, compares them over time, and writes your symptoms down like a careful nurse. It explains — it never diagnoses.
STEP 3 · WHEN YOU NEED IT
One tap brings a licensed, MDCN-verified doctor into the conversation. They arrive already briefed — your records, your story, your trends — and stay for a full week of follow-ups.
THE VAULT
Hospitals keep their copy. Kalma keeps yours. Every document is encrypted on your phone's way in, organised by AI into a searchable timeline — labs, medications, imaging — so the next doctor you meet starts from your whole story, not a blank page.

ASK KALMA
Kalma reads your documents, cites which record every answer came from, and tracks how your values change over time. Something hurts? It takes your story down like a nurse would and saves it to your records — so any doctor can read it in one glance. And if you ever describe an emergency, Kalma stops chatting and points you to care immediately.
Is it serious? What does the ALT thing mean?
ALT is an enzyme your liver releases when it's under stress. Yours is 42 U/L; the lab's range is 7–40. Your own history shows 25 → 31 → 42 since 2023. Whether it's serious is a doctor's call — I can prepare three questions for that conversation.

Kalma explains your records. It does not diagnose.
DOCTOR EPISODES
One flat fee adds an MDCN-verified doctor to your conversation. They see only what you choose to share — the consent screen names every document — and the episode covers answers and follow-ups for seven days. Their closing note is saved into your records, because the record of care and the record of health should be the same thing.
Also for the clinic visits you still make: show any doctor your records in person with one QR scan. No app needed on their side.

"Stop the supplement for now. I'd like a repeat LFT in 4 weeks — upload the result here and I'll review it in this episode."
Sees: this conversation · LFT (Jun 2026) · LFT (Feb 2023) — nothing else.
Your records and your questions are free. You only ever pay when a doctor joins.

The AI tells you what your numbers measure and how they've changed. What they mean for your health is always a doctor's call — and it says so.
Describe chest pain, stroke signs or other red flags and Kalma stops being a chatbot — it tells you to call 112 or get to an emergency room, immediately.
AES-256 encryption on every document, before it touches storage. Your images never leave your phone for AI processing — only extracted text does.
Before any doctor sees anything, Kalma names exactly what you're sharing — this conversation, these documents, nothing else. It stays visible all episode.
Every clinician in the Kalma Care Network is licensed with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and verified by our team before their first episode.
NDPA-aligned by design. Your records are encrypted so they open for you and no one else — including us. Only you choose who ever sees a record, item by item.
FOR CLINICIANS
Practice between your existing commitments — from your phone or laptop, on your schedule. Every patient arrives with a two-minute brief: their records, their story in their own words, their trends. You answer in chat, on your terms, one episode at a time.
We verify every application against the MDCN register and follow up with a short call.

No — and it will tell you so itself. Kalma explains what your results measure, how your values compare to the reference ranges printed on your own documents, and how they've changed over time. Anything that resembles a diagnosis or treatment decision is handed to a licensed doctor.
Kalma answers from your records — it cites which document every claim came from, tracks your trends, and refuses to guess beyond them. And when you need a human, a real doctor joins the same conversation with your history already in front of them. A general chatbot can do none of that.
Kalma is not an emergency service. If you describe warning signs — chest pain, signs of stroke, severe bleeding and others — the chat interrupts itself and directs you to call 112 or get to the nearest emergency room. This safety layer runs before any AI, every single message.
Independent Nigerian clinicians licensed with the MDCN, individually verified by our team before they can take a single episode. Every episode records which doctor you spoke to and what they could see.
The vault, the AI chat and clinic sharing are free. A doctor episode is ₦5,000 — one fee for the doctor joining your chat plus a full week of follow-ups. If no doctor is available in time, the fee returns to your wallet automatically.
Documents are AES-256 encrypted before storage, document images never leave your phone for AI processing, and nobody sees your records unless you explicitly share them — per doctor, per episode, named item by item. Kalma is designed around the NDPA and we do not sell data.
Doctors give advice, order lab work and write referral or care notes into your records. Kalma doesn't dispense or deliver medication — where a prescription is appropriate, your doctor will document it for you to fill at a licensed pharmacy.
